RadioPlayer ("we", "our", "the app") is a free internet radio streaming application developed by Guoqing Chu. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding your data.

2.1 Information Collected Automatically

• Device information: device model, OS version, app version — used solely to improve app stability and user experience.

• Advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID): used by Google AdMob to serve personalized or non-personalized ads based on your consent preferences.

• Favorites and playback history: stored locally on your device only. We do not upload or sync this data to any server.

• Approximate location (country-level only, derived from device locale or SIM information): used to suggest local radio stations. This data is processed on-device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.

5. Advertising and Consent

• This app displays ads via Google AdMob in the free version.
• For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and United Kingdom (UK), a consent dialog is presented at first launch in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ePrivacy Directive. You may choose to accept or decline personalized advertising.
• You can change your ad preferences at any time through the app settings or by resetting your Advertising ID in your device settings.
• Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements.

6. Foreground Service

This app uses an Android foreground service with type mediaPlayback to maintain continuous audio playback of live radio streams while the app is in the background or when the screen is off.

• A visible notification with playback controls is displayed at all times during playback.
• You can stop playback and dismiss the notification at any time.
• The foreground service is only active during audio streaming and performs no other background work.

7. In-App Purchases

This app uses Google Play Billing to process in-app purchases and subscriptions. All payments are securely handled by Google. We do not collect, store, or process any payment information such as credit card numbers.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

• All user data (favorites, playback history) is stored locally on your device.
• Firebase Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google's default retention policy, after which it is automatically deleted.
• Firebase Crashlytics crash logs are retained for 90 days.
• No account registration is required.
• You can delete all local data by clearing app data or uninstalling the app.

9. Children's Privacy

This app is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including using HTTPS for network communications where supported. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
